I see that there is a new Nvidia driver that apparently fixes this problem. Can we pretty please get this update in the official Precise Pangolin repos. This is a critical issue for the users with the affected hardware, effectively making the OS more or less useless for them.

I know you can install the driver manually, but would much rather have a working driver in the repos.
