@ddadap: I've been following this page: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/X/Backtracing Under "Backtrace with gdb". Could you please make sure that these steps are fine, and also tell me how to make sure that I have debugging symbols installed and capture the "DSO load base of nvidia_drv.so within X". I want this bug closed as soon as possible and would be glad to provide any information I can.
