Hello, this is just to say that I experienced this issu as well. For me, it is a shame, but the only way I managed to have a normal session logged in has been to begin using only the onboard graphic card instead of my Nvidia. In order to do that, I blacklisted all the drivers from Nvidia.
I know it is a desperate solution but it worked. Hope it helps.
