Comment 16 for bug 863366

back when I had this issue I think it also affected the ppa, Not sure any more as I know I manual added the desktop ini file edited to properly point to the icon. With that said I have uninstalled to compile from source on master branch, (Which I managed to get up to 75%-80% before hanging.) and reinstalled it without any issue, not sure if the desktop ini file got removed when purging though. I currently use the ppa irie-lmms and works correctly to the exeunt of my knowledge.
