Oh, i think i've missunterstood you. Do you want a confirmation about the issue in the specific kernels (what i did actually) or a confirmation about an successful bug-fix with the patch attached in post #21?

However, i've tested the patch in 11.10 with Kernel 3.0 and the bug is fixed.
