This problem with libvirt exists in RHEL 6.2, and I stumbled upon it while preparing for RHCSA/RHCE recertification. My study environment consists of VMWare Workstation 8.0.2-591240 and RHEL 6.2.

This is fixed in RHEL 6.3 beta as of 2012/04/25.
