Seriously, how has digikam gone this far without this being changed?
For you Kubuntu/KDE users, I'm referring to the poorly drawn picture of a penguin looking over a digital camera. This: http://toooools.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/digikam.png
Compare that to this: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/3/3c/Digikam_Oxygen.svg/120px-Digikam_Oxygen.svg.png
And this hasn't been changed why?
This wouldn't be quiet as bad if I could actually change the icon myself or through a theme, but apparently the icon is stuck to the app upon compilation. |

Debian-menu XPM files are dated and using the old KDE 3 icon of digikam and showfoto. This gives bad brand recognition. While this issue has a rather small impact it is a related change to bug #781728 which warrants a SRU anyway. Considering the amount of packages built by the digikam source it seems worthwhile to combine as many updates
as possible.

* Check that /usr/share/pixmaps/digikam.xpm is identical to /usr/share/icons/hicolor/32x32/apps/digikam.png
[Regression Potential]
* None, simple icon swap.
