I think this bug still affects Lubuntu Saucy i686, when running a live session (without installing).
I would expect a prompt to remove the live media and press ENTER. I think it exists, but is 'hidden behind' the graphics screen with the dots, because it is shown in text mode (as seen for example in Lubuntu Raring running in VirtualBox).
