I can confirm that fwbuilder from jammy-proposed has fixed the bug for me.
Test done:
installed fwbuilder and followed the testplan to verify the error is still seen.
Added jammy-proposed to apt sources. install fwbuilder from jammy-proposed.
followed the testplan to verify the error is not seen.
