The bug should be fixed in Ubuntu-3.0.0-13. If you are sure DVD works fine
on 3.0.0-13 but not works on previous kernel release, then the bug is
verified to be fixed in the Ubuntu-3.0.0-13.

Also you should make sure that you have put your SATA at IDE or compatible
mode and not at AHCI mode in BIOS setting before doing the test.
