The patch for this bug was reworked to handle more cases, and thus is awaiting verification that the kernel 3.0.0-13.21 in -proposed continues to work. Please test the kernel and update this bug with the results. If the problem is solved, change the tag 'verification-needed-oneiric' to 'verification-done-oneiric'.

If verification is not done by one week from today, this fix will be dropped from the source code, and this bug will be closed.
