Sorry I lost track in all these comments.
I think it could be interesting to open a new bug report for that then so we don't mix everything, but it will be quite hard to track down the issue as it seems fixed for you :/
Anyway thanks for reporting bug as it helps to make Ubuntu (and GNU/Linux) better
