For me, there is nothing fixed. Using indicator-session -> hibernate and turning back on brings me directly to the desktop, even if i have activated locking the screen in screensaver settings.
Or is this the same as https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/indicator-session/+bug/436724 as I have auto-login enabled?
