Yes, the shares were/are mounted via Nautilus prior to using FF to attempt to save a file, in that screenshot.

I use Nautilus to move files to/from shares without issue, but the file pickers in FF (snap), Thunderbird, and Chrome (deb) all show the shares but cannot work with them.
