Are you sure it is installed? If it's installed, it should say it's installed like it does on my system:

xdg-desktop-portal-gnome/jammy,now 42.0.1-1ubuntu2 amd64 [installed,automatic]

Please run this command to fix your issue:

sudo apt install xdg-desktop-portal-gnome
