Comment 2 for bug 2023531

Clarifications from the MIR meeting:
- There is dotnet7, but only even numbered releases like dotnet6 are an LTS release and only that is meant to get promoted to main.
- there is a more complex support strategy, but not all even numbered dotnets will be supported all the time; dviererbe will write a comment about this
- The plan after upstream support (3 years) is also complex, and they mentioned a transitional package that deinstalls dotnet when it reaches EOL
