Comment 38 for bug 259157

I tried out an orinoco silver pcmcia card with the live i386 cd (build 20081020) and the orinoco card seems to work fine with Network Manager. I did notice that iwconfig was reporting only 2Mbit/s, though when I transferred some data, it bumped up to 11Mbit/s (orinoco silver is 802.11b only). Attached are dmesg output, lspci output (the orinoco doesn't show up there because it's a 16bit card; the ricoh pci->pcmcia bridge does), pccardctl ident output for the orinoco card, and iwconfig output.
