Comment 128 for bug 193970

I too can confirm this on latest jaunty.
As I said before, I resolve this every time by running:
sudo ifconfig wlan0 up;sleep 2;sudo iwlist wlan0 scan

Is there any chance this is not kernel, but something else? (dbus, network-manager)
