The API that was failing in this test was introduced in the 4.6 kernel series (in b844f0ecbc56 ("vfs: define kernel_copy_file_from_fd()")), so trusty's 4.4 kernel should not be affected. The linux-azure 4.15 kernels in trusty and xenial have the needed fix applied, are they still affected by this bug?
