The ldap issue has been reported in Debian bug http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=509593.

Ian, would you mind adding your ldap server URL to the bug? This way other developers can test against it. If not, I mentioned in the Debian report that I would give the URL to the maintainer privately.
