i am also working with a x3100 santa rosa but it is working perfectly.
posting here about how your also suffering from the problem is not going to help.
if you want to see this bug fixed and help the linux community in general i suggest you go to the thread and try to work out what hardware-software combination is causing this so the developer can actually start working on the fix and i dont see this bug getting fixed until that happens.
i know its a hassle but in the world of linux/open source thats how things get done.
