Bug Description
Newbie. Use to have sound in Edgy. Did not have in Feisty. I thought Gutsy would fix but turns out no. Just starting to try out Ubuntu but starting to get frustrated.
Installed latest Gutsy Live CD 10-18-2007 release
All volume levels in ALSA max. Non muted.

Hi Angel
This seems to be quite similar to bug #131133, could you check the symptoms and tell us if it's the same, so we can link this report to that one, or else ask you for the required information.
Thanks in advance
