Hardware Affected
It seems to me, some people using eee pc's, adaptec raid cards models 2410sa and 2610sa, usb drives.

IDE drives seem unaffected, thanks doobydave.

Two possible solutions have been found, perhaps someone could test them:

2. bbauto suggests this https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-keyring/+bug/218434/comments/32 this is also found in bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/221850

perhaps if users are tracking this bug, they could report what hardware they are running hardy on. esp. if it similar to what is mentioned above.
