Hi Christian, just to make it sure we are in sync:
Problem is not related to users using NetApp E-Series. I've reproduced this issue in a NetApp SolidFire system that has no relation with E-Series. My understanding is that any storage system our platform that make use of target names larger than 254 bytes will hit this problem.
