It seems to me that I may be having the same problem.
This may or may not be helpful to you.
I fixed my problem using "-query <ipaddress>".
<ipaddress> CANNOT be "localhost" nor "127.0.0.1". It MUST be the actual ip address of the server or else a name that resolves to this address.
