Try to compile it (Ubuntu 18.04), got the following error message:

configure: error: Package requirements (
    ibus-1.0 >= 1.5.11
) were not met:

No package 'ibus-1.0' found

Execution of dpkg -l ibus command shows that the ibus version is
1.5.17-3ubun amd64 .
