So this are the results using the latest Mutter (3.26.1) from todays update plus Nvidia 387.22 with an Nvidia GTX 1080 - https://imgur.com/a/3stwv

With Dying Light both border issues showed.
With Mad Max one showed and after doing a 2nd ALT-TAB both showed.
With Shadow of Mordor both showed.
