Unfortunately there seems another issue with this kernel:
The screen/video is blank on resume, I think this is the offending part:

...but the install of this kernel did not go so smoothly - maybe I did something wron. Previously I downloaded the four files and just double-clicked on each file in file manager to install, but this time it complained and I first had to uninstall the previous version before trying again, with apparent success - is this the correct approach ?
