I'm running Xubuntu 10.04.1 LTS . And the package refuses to install. Its never installed, it always gives an error.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Could you please try the following to attempt to correct this issue? In a terminal, run

sudo dpkg --configure -a

Let us know if this fixes the issue for you.
