Bug Description

The app grid icon is now the Ubuntu logo. We need to find a way to override this to the Edubuntu logo.

FYI we're going to provide a way to override this by defining a new gnome shell session (you can inherit the ubuntu one) and the icon should be named `view-app-grid-${currentMode}-symbolic` e.g. `view-app-grid-edubuntu-symbolic`, otherwise the default (view-app-grid-symbolic) will be used

That sounds wonderful, but we use the ubuntu session currently and it's too late to change that. Therefore, we'll have to just do a `dpkg-divert` `view-app-grid-ubuntu-symbolic` now, which means my existing `dpkg-divert` of `view-app-grid-symbolic` will need to change and I need to go back to the drawing board a bit. Not a huge issue, just minor inconvenience since I just uploaded that fix.

  * Install and divert app grid icon correctly (LP: #2060816)
Also uses new naming nomenclature to work with new dock
bugfixes as described in conversation in aforementioned
bug report where the default app grid icon is being replaced
by an Ubuntu icon. That icon is then diverted here for an
Edubuntu icon. Discussions also took place on Matrix
    for clarification.

It doesn't really break it but if we'd release this version of the icon

Marcos,

Are you sure that you're running the latest version of the yaru-icon-theme *and* of the ubuntu-dock?

Also are you running the ubuntu session?

If one of these conditions aren't met, then the normal icon will be shown.

Same thing happened to me, but as soon as I logged-out and in after the update it went to the Ubuntu logo or, in the case of Edubuntu, the Edubuntu logo.

Sorry, false alarm. I just did a reboot after an apt full-upgrade and the icon is being shown. It's a pretty icon, btw. (:
