Ok. Now let's talk about removing half of a pancreas. Or a femur. Or a colon. Or a brain. Then, we can talk about systemic cancers. Those that spread out and form tumors all over one's body.
We can, and do, cut out tumors all the time. So long as they exist in muscle and fat tissue, they can come out no problem. But when they start growing on organs, we have a problem. And when they spread to the lymphatic system, we have a huge problem.
