... a few years on, we don't have edbrowse in the archive while it's doing fine in debian. I was wondering why, so took a trip down memory lane - https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/edbrowse/+bug/553052 ported it to xulrunner, which debian never did, then this bug dropped it due to xulrunner, instead of reverting to the debian package. FWIW debian package builds fine for xenial in ppa for me.
