I saw earlier today discussion on #ubuntu-desktop (https://irclogs.ubuntu.com/2022/03/22/%23ubuntu-desktop.html) where I wonder if item at 08:59 may hold something rather useful

If it does; Ubuntu-MATE maybe won't be impacted by this issue in a day or so, and we should chase this up with oSoMoN to include us (& Ubuntu canary ISO)

I'm getting (on my primary box; running GNOME currently)

which differs to what I get on a daily booted on hp 8200 (lubuntu jammy)
"firefox.desktop"

Is there something here??
