Cody, I am testing the Beta 6 and maybe these is not the place to ask these but I dont know about how these work.

you said "I've decided to drop example-content for the time being If this package is appreciated, we can create our own xubuntu-example-content package."

these mean these will be fixed in Hardy or for the next release
