@Micah: But if you installed Xubuntu then you expect Xubuntu in the GRUB menu. Other flavors like Bodhi Linux also call themselves by name in the GRUB menu even though they're based on Ubuntu as well. So IMHO your argument is invalid for Xubuntu; for Mint you're right, they should fix that themselves.
