I noticed that the importance of this bug is "undecided". Check the number of posts on openchrome screen resolution problems in the Ubuntu Forums. It's definitely a problem.

The openchrome driver in 7.10 worked fine. The openchrome driver in 8.04 is broken. .

I will gladly provide any information about my hardware and xorg configuration to anyone who is willing to look into it. For starters:
