Hardware: Inspiron 8100, GeForce2 Go
Xorg version: xorg-x11-6.8.2-1.FC3.13 (Latest xorg package from Fedora Core 3)
When trying to use the laptop Fn-F8 key to switch between LCD and CRT, the CRT
screen usually pulls up complete rubbish (the laptop screen stays showing the
correct X session). For reference, this used to work with the XFree86 tree (and
the binary nVidia driver). I haven't found a way to effect the switch; even
booting on CRT alone produces the VGA messages but corrupts the screen when X
starts. This behaviour has been consistent since I installed FC3 on my laptop
three months ago.
