Bug Description
I just tested the Feisty LiveCD @ i386.
It started X in a very high resolution 2000-something x something else, but only 60Hz refresh rate, which makes my (CRT) screen unusable.
I attempted to increase the refresh frequency and lowering the resolution (since that's the usual tradeoff) using Gnome's screen resolution preferences thingy. However, even at low resolutions, 60Hz was the only alternative.
In Edgy I have set 1600x1200@85Hz using the Gnome preferences.
According to lspci, my graphics card is:
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation GeForce 6200 (rev a1)
Not being able to run higher refresh frequencies than 60Hz makes it impossible for me to upgrade to Feisty.
