Bug Description

Installing on lucid amd64 using aptitude fails with the following error (translated from german)
The following packages are coruppt::
  xserver-xorg-core
The followind new packages will be installed::
  nouveau-kernel-source{a} xserver-xorg-video-nouveau
The following packages have broken dependencies:
  xserver-xorg-core: Kollidiert: xserver-xorg-video-5 , which is a virtual package

Using synaptic for installation would remove the entire xserver and therefore also packages like ubuntu-desktop.

For the time being the driver
xserver-xorg-video-nouveau (1:0.0.10~git+20090823+569a17a-0ubuntu1)
is an experimental one and does not provide necessary graphical environment.
There is no reason to install it.
One should use the official driver nvidia-current (190.53-0ubuntu8) for NVidia cards.
