FWIW, I had to replace my previously working GT 230 card as it had died. I checked the nouveau matrix and it indicated that the G 240 should also be supported.

It would not even boot. Hanging with the Fedora Icon displayed and then going to a blank or screen splashed with noise. I've attached the output from /var/log/messages related to nouveau.
