The is no option to disable the discrete nvidia card in the bios.

Ubuntu 13.04 is installed local at the HD and 13.10 at the flash drive.

This is from 13.10, nvidia- current is installed from the repository. The hdmi is not working "xrandr: Configure crtc 3 failed."
