Comment 41 for bug 292214

Yes, I copied the module to /usr/lib/xorg/... after installing. I ended up with a different set of errors than before, but it still didn't work (unfortunately, I didn't take notes of all this). I did not apply any further patches.

With the xorg.conf I posted, Gnome and OpenGL applications work fine (I do not know if anything is accelerated though) and nothing odd happened so far, so I don't think I'll be modifying anything in a hurry :-)
