I had the problem too.
My system:
Ubuntu 12.04.1 (3.2.0-31-generic)
My laptop:
Lenovo Z580
8GB ram
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3210M CPU @ 2.50GHz
nVidea G640M (2GB)
BCM4313 802.11b/g/n Wireless LAN Controller

As i can see, the problem appears when i use wifi. When i turn it off (just disconnect in network manager) and put the ethernet cable all seems ok.
