Test Results

When I play video using the "mplayer -vo gl2" option, no video tearing is seen on either of the above systems.
When I play video using the "mplayer -vo xv" option, I can clearly see video tearing on both of the above systems.
When I capture screen shots using System A, I can never seem to capture the moment that I can see the screen tearing. This system is using the KDE desktop.
System B is running mythbuntu with XFCE4 which currently does not have a screen capture program installed. If you have a screen capture program suggestion for XFCE4 then I am all ears.
