Just adding myself as a 'me too'. Video tears heavily, and it does not matter whether compositing is turned on or off, the tearing is the same.

I would also like to point out that 'SwapBuffers' is enabled, which as I understand should prevent any video-tearing. However it does not seem to work for some reason. Xorg log contains the following on 'swap':

My hardware is Dell XPS 15 (L502x) with:
