Can you please fix a way to on the kernelcmd set a display mode? I can bet that even if we may not e that many I will not be the only one with strange monitor/display that needs to set another mode then kms wants.

To be honest here is yet another reason why I in bug #22035 suggested the possibility to on the kernelcmd set a mode for KMS.
Now I have an unusable 2.6.31 (in this case having epileptic bootup until something can run xrandr is not that fun) that I rather would use then having to becouse of bug #22035 patch 2.6.30. Since for example I have problems restoring VTs with both but I have no possibility to know if this is a kernel bug (which in that case came with the fix for bug #22035) or a sideffect of changeing resolution in Xorg, and since I cannot really currently play around with 2.6.31 (I use that box so much for various media purposes that I really do not like massive downtime/short uptimes).
Having the possibility to set the resolution I would still bugreport, but I could at least use the kernel.
