I know the description is a bit ranty but here is what a boot up looks like using the default resolutions, and issuing xinit glxgears from console.

Could someone please tell me what to do to get this thing going? Else I do not really know what to do next dist-update when 2.10.0 with removed UMS starts rolling out...
