Tested 9.10 beta. Sadly I ended up with the same problem...
Just for fun I installed 8.04 on my pc just to see what that would do
And would you believe it: That gave me an even higher resolution than the one I get running 9.04.
This has made me think...The newer version of Ubuntu I install on my pc, the lower the screen resolution gets.
This seems to me to be the opposite of development.
So what is this really all about?
Is my hardware simply to old for Ubuntu to keep caring about it?
Maybe I am being unfair, but since I am getting no answers anywhere, I can only guess....
