It is still the same. Now resolution is on Ubuntu 8.10 i386 live-cd 1152 * 864.
Attached are the xorg log and the output of lspci -vvnn on live-cd-session.
System crashes when selecting 1024 * 768 and 60hz (75 or 85 hz are not available.)
