I applied the latest patch from Mika on top of drm-intel-nightly and it's been working great for the last couple of days. Suspending or changing resolution doesn't cause flicker anymore, and it also seems to have fixed the ocassional one frame blackout I had before (which still happens on windows btw).

I didn't need any extra configuration like Tom, it just worked out of the box. I'll let you know if something changes but it seems to be fixed on my system.
